Description
Parquetry is a block pattern for flooring which owes the origins of its name to the French word parqueterie and dates back to the mid to late 1600’s. This flooring is made from small blocks or strips of wood which are laid to create a regular and geometric pattern.
Patterns can vary, the most popular being herringbone. Floors can be fitted in a single type of timber such as oak, maple, walnut, mahogany or with two or more contrasting timbers.
We can source timber for your specific project.
